2. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the Amps AI platform, which provides API connectivity to smart energy devices including thermostats, heat pumps, solar

inverters, and home batteries (the "Services"). By using our Services you agree to these terms.

3. Using our Services

You may use our Services only if you are 18 or over and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. You agree to:

Provide accurate information when registering

Keep your API keys and login credentials secure

Use the Services only for lawful purposes

Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform

4. Connecting devices

You must own or have explicit authorisation to connect any device through our platform. By connecting a device, you acknowledge that the Amps AI platform

may send commands to that device — such as adjusting settings or modifying schedules — as part of the service. You are responsible for ensuring this is

appropriate for your situation.

5. Google Sign-In

We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. By signing in with Google you also agree to Google's Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms). We use your

Google account only to verify your identity and create your Amps AI account.

6. Partners

Our Services are delivered in part through third-party Partners. Each Partner operates under their own terms and is responsible for their own services. We are

not liable for any Partner's actions or failures.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Services at any time, with notice where

reasonably practicable.

8. Intellectual property

All platform software, documentation, and content is owned by Amps AI or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of it without our written

permission. You retain ownership of any data you submit through the platform.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss arising from your use of the Services

We are not liable for loss or damage caused by third-party devices, device manufacturers, or Partner services

We are not liable for any harm resulting from API-driven control actions on connected devices where you have authorised such control

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting admin@amps.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we

are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect

constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
